Corporate Data Center (CDC) -Saudi Aramco
Aramco’s Corporate Data Center is the biggest Tier 3 data center in the Middle East. Located in Dhahran, the Center spans 6,000 square meters above a raised floor.

SCOPE OF WORK:
Eaton Arabia Services Team was contracted to execute the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of Low Voltage Switchgears, Medium Voltage Switchgears and to supervise the testing and start-up of paralleling switchgears.

YASREF – Saudi Aramco / SINOPEC
Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refinery is located in Yanbu 2, an extension of Yanbu Industrial City in the Western Province of Saudi Arabia, on the coast of the Red Sea.

The 400,000-barrel-a-day grassroots export refinery is a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Chinese Petrochemical Corp.

SCOPE OF WORK:
Eaton Arabia Services Team executed and supervised the pre-commissioning. commissioning and start-up of Low Voltage MCC and Medium Voltage MCC.

King Faisal Specialist Hospital KFSH – Al Bawani

King Abdullah Center for Cancer and Liver Diseases, Private Wing, and Emergency Medical Services.

The King Abdullah Center for Cancer and Liver Diseases, located in Riyadh, is the biggest such center in the Middle East.

SCOPE OF WORK:
The pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of PBS, Low Voltage MCC, Low Voltage switchgears, Medium Voltage MCC, Medium Voltage MCC, Medium Voltage Switchgear and Medium Voltage Power Transformers was all executed and supervised by the Eaton Arabia Services Team.

Relay Retrofitting-IBN RUSHD
IBN RUSHD was established in February 1993 as a limited liability company and thereafter converted to a joint stock company in December 1995. SABIC, promoter of the project owns about 49% of the shares of the company and remaining shared among several companies in the region. The company produces polyester, aromatics, purified terephthalic acid and polyethylene terephthalate. The complex is located in Yanbu Industrial city and it consists of 3 integrated plants, namely Aromatics Plant, PTA Plant, Polyester Plant.

SCOPE OF WORK:
Eaton Arabia team upgraded the existing ABB make SCU protection relays in PTA substation 34.5KV, 13.8KV and 3.3KV switchgears with SEL protection relay. The Job scope included engineering, design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of all protection relays. The work was completed in record time due to the short time window of the scheduled shutdown provided by the client.

Khafji Joint Venture Operation KJO-ENPPI/ KJO

On April 1, 2000 and after Aramco Gulf Operations Company (AGOC) commenced its activities and took over the Saudi Government share in the Divided Zone. AGOC and AOC which represented Kuwait Government side, carry out the Joint Operations in accordance with a Joint Petroleum Production Operations Agreement (JPPOA). This undertaking is internally known as Khafji Joint Operations (KJO).

Eaton Arabia Services Team carried out the following activities as part of their contract, pre-commissioning and start-up of 3 prefabricated E-houses (each including Low Voltage MCC, Low Voltage Switchgears, Medium Voltage MCC, Medium Voltage Switchgear, Fire System, DC System, HVAC, etc.)

YANSAB – SABIC

Yanbu National Petrochemical Co. is located in Yanbu Industrial City, on the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia. The petrochemicals complex consists of seven plants in addition to its utility and offsite facilities. It began commercial operations in 2010, manufacturing petrochemical products including ethylene, ethylene glycol, polyethylene, polypropylene, butane, benzene, toluene and xylene 

SCOPE OF WORK:

The pre-commissioning and commissioning of all MV and LV equipment provided by Eaton Arabia was part of the scope of work. client

Ras Tanura Project-Saudi Aramco

Ras Tanura Project was a replacement project for two Line-ups MV SWGRS and MV MCC coupled together which was designed and executed in the 80’s. It was requested from the awarded vendor in addition to supplying the new equipment, to be responsible for designing, supplying and adapting the new provided equipment to the existing Busduct

SCOPE OF WORK:

Eaton Arabia team worked on alternative solutions to provide the most compatible solution with the available space and to minimize the civil works that may occur due to this replacement  .EEIC succeeded in providing a very compact solution with fork design as a coupling between the MV SWGR and MV MCC for each line-up which was matching with the customer requirement. Despite the multiple challenges faced by the Services team during this project including limited space and a short lead time, the work was completed on time and the new equipment was installed as per client requirements
 

Ras Tanura Clean Fuel Project

Saudi Aramco launched a $2.6bn project, named the Ras Tanura refinery clean fuels and aromatics project, to improve the environmental friendliness of the plant. The project was completed the installation of a naphtha splitter column in October 2019. The function of the naphtha splitter column is to split the hydrotreated naphtha into light and heavy naphtha. The expansion also included a crude oil distillation unit, catalyst regenerator, a vacuum distillation unit, and a visbraker crude unit. A diesel hydrotreater, an amine regeneration unit and a 200tpd sulphur unit were also be installed. An aromatics cracker was added at the refinery as part of the project.
